Why Letting Go is Important?

Jay Shetty in his book 'Think Like A Monk' has quoted that 'letting go is a big part of the rhythm of nature, as is rebirth'. Sometimes letting go some things is the only way towards inner peace. It may be painful initially but you won't regret on your decision of letting go. Letting go helps you break the chains and move for something better. Let me illustrate this to you by an example. Have you ever observed a plum tree?

It sheds his all leaves during the month of November and December. It almost look bare and lifeless but as soon as spring arrives it is covered with beautiful white flowers. Now just stop and wonder if that tree would have stopped shedding his leaves will he have ever blossomed like this?

The answer is a big NO.

You may find it difficult to let go that toxic relationship or friendship. You may feel all lonely and aimless for some time. But remember something better is waiting for you. In the end everything will be worth it.

Thanks for reading!
